HUNT VALLEY, Md. — Financial technology company Nayax has given Monyx Wallet a loyalty upgrade. Now, an app allowing shoppers to pay at unattended shopping areas can enable loyalty campaigns and rewards programs. The upgrade gives operators more options to communicate directly with customers.
Monyx Wallet gives consumers the option to pay with their phones at Nayax-integrated unstaffed points of purchase, including unattended convenience stores. Consumers can use the app to track their purchases and gain loyalty benefits, including discounts, punch cards, cash back and bonus credit. These benefits can be applied to any type of unattended business.
“For consumers at unattended machines, the business owner is anonymous. Monyx Wallet’s marketing tools help operators develop more of a relationship with their consumers and support operators in promoting their business,” said Yair Nechmad, CEO of Nayax.
Consumers can download the app through the GooglePlay store or through the Apple app store, and c-store operators can manage and monitor campaigns through the Nayax Management Suite. Using Monyx Wallet, operators can digitize the refund process, employee discounts and more to manage an unstaffed location.
Hunt Valley, Md.-based Nayax, established in 2005, is a global financial technology company that specializes in digital tools for unattended retail machinery. It has more than 250,000 devices installed worldwide in 50 countries.
