Uber Eats is expanding its list of partners for its grocery and convenience business. On Tuesday, the technology company added urban convenience-store brand Foxtrot Café & Market and several regional grocers, including Springfield, Massachusetts-based Big Y; Hauppauge, New York-based King Kullen; Memphis, Tennessee-based Superlo Foods; Edina, Minnesota-based Lunds & Byerlys; and Santa Clarita,California-based Vallarta Supermarkets.

Committed to growing its grocery category with “beloved regional retailers,” Uber Eats said it wants shoppers to have access to regional preferences and tastes. The San Francisco-based company said its grocery expansion aligns with its broader mission to provide convenience at scale.

“Our goal is to provide customers with an unparalleled selection of grocery options, from national brands to the local retailers they trust most,” said Hashim Amin, head of grocery and retail for North America at Uber. “With this latest expansion, we’re deepening our investment in regional grocery partners and making it easier than ever for customers to get their grocery shopping done from the comfort of their homes. We’re excited to continue building on this momentum throughout the year.”

Foxtrot Café & Market closed all of its stores in April 2024, and parent company Outfox Hospitality then declared bankruptcy. In September, Foxtrot's original owners revived the concept and reopened Chicago stores in Gold CoastOld TownWicker ParkFulton Market and River North. The c-store retailer also reopened two locations in Dallas.
