CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Holmes Oil Co., owner of the Cruizers Convenience Market Place stores, is a new client for Fintech's electronic data and payment system. In February, the Chapel Hill, N.C.-based Holmes Oil added 22 North Carolina locations to its Fintech account.
Fintech is a leader in providing electronic data and payments to the alcohol industry, eliminating the need to pay alcohol purchases by cash, check or money order. Its retailer and distributor solution maintains services for more than 275,000 relationships nationwide and processes more than $1 billion in alcohol payments each month.
Cruizers is Holmes Oil's retail brand and now includes 24 stores in central North Carolina plus a new store breaking ground in Durham, N.C., next month.
Fintech's secure, cost saving solution is often used to ensure a smooth operational transition into the alcohol industry for large retail chains, such as current clients CVS, Chipotle and Noodles & Co. New clients include Eastwynn Theatres and Neighborhood Restaurant Partners dba Applebee's.
More than 2,200 distributors nationwide use Fintech's electronic payment program. Based in Tampa, Fla., the company now serves clients in all 50 states.
