Huck’s Awarded for Customer Loyalty Program

Recognition comes after 70% increase in retention rate

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. —Punchh recognized Huck’s Market for its loyalty program's 70% increase in customer retention quarter-over-quarter.

Punchh, a ParTech company, selected seven of its 250 clients that best use the platform for customized loyalty program management, omnichannel engagement, digital campaigns, personalized offers and more. 

“These top brands are innovators in restaurant and convenience store loyalty programs,” said Don Wight, president and general manager of Punchh. “They pushed the boundaries to stand apart from competing programs and delivered real-time, digital loyalty experiences that engaged their guests and strengthened their brands with proven techniques made actionable by our solutions.”

Huck’s, based in Carmi, Ill., won the Retention Rockstar award after being evaluated on quantitative and qualitative metrics, innovative usage, strategic results and platform adoption, according to Punchh. The convenience store’s growth in loyalty customer retention comes from consistent offers on food and fuel with the strategy of re-engaging lapsed usage by guest frequency. This minimizes over-discounting, decreases low usage and provides a personal experience for guests.

Huck's is a chain of large-format convenience stores in Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee. The c-store was previously owned by a Martin & Bayley Inc., but the Martin and Bayley families sold the company to employees in 2001, making it a 100% employee-owned company.
