InStore.ai Hires Convenience-Store, Hospitality Industry Leaders

InStore.ai, a Los Gatos, California-based technology company specializing in retail solutions powered by generative AI and voice analytics, expanded its leadership team with four industry experts.

InStore.ai’s solution utilizes generative AI and voice analytics to analyze in-person conversations between employees and customers, extracting valuable insights that elevate operational efficiency, employee engagement, loss prevention and overall customer experience. The company is gearing up to launch its retail voice analytics product aimed at enhancing customer experiences in fuel, convenience and hospitality.

Julie Jackson

Julie Jackson (pictured above) was hired as senior vice president of fuel and convenience. She has a background in the fuel and convenience store industry, with executive leadership roles at G&M Oil, Jaco Oil and bp.

 

 Van Tarver

Van Tarver (pictured above) is InStore.ai’s new senior advisor for fuel and convenience. He served as the president of fuel and convenience at Kroger, overseeing more than 800 convenience stores and 1,200 supermarket fuel centers. His previous roles include an executive position at PDI and an eight-year tenure on the board of directors of the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS).

Mike Kennedy

Mike Kennedy (pictured above) is the new senior advisor of hospitality at InStore.ai. Kennedy’s career as chief information officer spans organizations such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels, Best Western International and Holiday Inn Worldwide.

David Chugg

David Chugg (pictured above) has been hired as senior vice president of hospitality. He has managed global network architecture and deployment for major hotel chains including Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels and Westin Hotels and Resorts.
