Jacksons Food Stores is partnering with Boise State University basketball players Tyson Degenhart (No. 2), O’Mar Stanley (No. 1) and Andrew Meadow (No. 13) through a name, image and likeness (NIL) partnership. Jacksons is also offering special game day promotions for Bronco men’s basketball fans in January and February

As part of the NIL partnership, the athletes will be featured in posts on the Meridian, Idaho-based convenience-store chain’s social media accounts, its website, in the Let’s Go Rewards app and on billboards.

  • Jacksons Foods Stores is No. 26 on CSP's 2024 Top 202 ranking of the largest c-store chains in the country.

The athletes’ social media pages will also have sponsored content highlighting their relationship with Jacksons, the c-store chain said. The team’s regular season started Nov. 6.

“All of us at Jacksons are looking forward to what looks to be a sensational Bronco basketball season,” said Cory Jackson, president of Jacksons Food Stores. “Getting to partner with these young men who contribute so much to their team and our community is a true pleasure. Let’s Go!”

The NIL partnerships were facilitated in part by Boise State’s NIL program. The players are compensated for their participation.

Jacksons has had several other NIL partnerships with BSU athletes, including linebacker DJ Schramm, defensive end Ahmed Hassanein and running back Jambres Duba.

In January, Jacksons will also offer special game day promotions for Bronco men’s basketball fans.

If the Broncos score 70 or more points in a game, fans can redeem a $2 bundle featuring a hot dog and any size fountain drink with Let’s Go Rewards, plus a free banana. The offer will be available two days after each game. So for a Thursday game, the promo will run on Saturday, Jacksons said.

Since John D. Jackson founded Jacksons in 1975 as a single service station, the family-owned company has grown to be a nationally recognized chain of more than 300 company-operated convenience stores in Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, California and Utah under the Jacksons Food Stores and ExtraMile by Jacksons Convenience Store brands
