KSS Fuels Expands Traffic Intelligence Database

New Current Year Estimates analytics bring historical counts up to date

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- KSS Fuels has announced a major update to its traffic database source, MPSI TrafficMetrix, which now contains almost 1.3 million traffic counts. The enhancements for 2011 continue to position MPSI TrafficMetrix as a leading source for the most up-to-date traffic-related demand data intelligence in North America.

In addition to refreshing and extending key traffic data, KSS Fuels has developed analytic tools to improve the accuracy of the placement of traffic data on street files. Working to standards established by the Tiger Accuracy Improvement Program, this ensures that traffic intelligence is accurately plotted on maps for subsequent analysis.

"The key source of consumer traffic count data intelligence, our MPSI TrafficMetrix delivers the most comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date traffic information available in the marketplace," said Bob Stein, president and CEO of KSS Fuels. "Our newly developed 'Current Year Estimates' analytics bring historical traffic counts up to date for current use in knowing consumer demand at retailers' sites."

KSS Fuels now delivers two major components of traffic intelligence--actual traffic counts throughout North America and Current Year Estimates, a proprietary statistical technique to bring older traffic counts up to date.
