LottoShield, a system that helps stores track and protect lottery sales, is partnering with PDI Technologies to reach more convenience stores and gas stations. With many retail operators already using PDI’s software to run daily operations, now they can add LottoShield to manage their lottery inventory.

San Ramon, California-based LottoShield aims to reduce shrink, eliminate manual reconciliation and automate lottery accounting in PDI Enterprise, a pricebook, inventory, order automation and point of sale (POS) solution from PDI.

“At LottoShield, we’ve developed a comprehensive, purpose-built solution that has helped retailers improve their operations by saving time and reducing lottery theft by up to 95%,” said Mehdi Mahmoodi, co-founder of LottoShield. “We look forward to working with more PDI customers to protect their lottery inventory and save them time, so they can focus on growing their business.”

LottoShield integrates directly with state lottery reporting systems and  POS platforms to give visibility and control over lottery operations to retail partners, including SunStop, Bainbridge, Georgia, H&S Energy, Orange, California, Chestnut Market, New Paltz, New York, and more.

“Offering a choice to PDI customers is paramount in today’s complex convenience retail environment,” said Drew Mize, executive vice president of commercial operations and partnerships at PDI Technologies, Alpharetta, Georgia. “While PDI Lottery will remain a strategic offering to our customers, we recognize the incremental benefits and value that LottoShield brings to PDI Enterprise customers.”
