OKLAHOMA CITY -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has announced extended working hours of its customer care center to include overnights and Sundays. The company increased resources and hired additional staff to take care of more customers across the country around the clock.
"We serve a trucking industry that never sleeps, as well as the public on the go, who need answers and assistance quickly. Extending our customer service center hours allows us to respond instantly," said Paul Maca, director of customer service for Love's. "Love's is known for our commitment [image-nocss] to outstanding customer service. Offering 24/7 access is just another way we are focused on our customers."
Overall company growth at Love's has fueled the need for additional support. Customer interest has increased since Love's rolled out the Love's Connect mobile phone app in June, and the customer service call center also takes initial calls for roadside assistance through Love's truck tire care centers, which are rapidly expanding nationwide.
Love's customer service center also takes calls for its "I Love Rewards" loyalty program and responds to general inquiries and customer service feedback at 1-800-OKLOVES.
In other company news, last month, Love's opened its 100th truck tire care center. It began adding truck tire care centers to new and existing travel stops in 2008 and plans to add 50 tire care centers to locations as a part of their 2011 planned capital expenditures.
Founded in 1964 by Tom Love, Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City, and remains family owned and operated. With more than 270 locations and 100 tire care centers in 39 states, Love's approximate growth rate is 20 stores per year.
