Love's Launches New Website

Revamp increases mobile access, functionality; chain adding more tire and lube centers
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has enhanced its website with a new look and added features. These changes were made to www.loves.com to better meet customer needs, the company said.

Previously, smartphone users could not access loves.com on their devices. Loves.com now has much of the same functionality on a mobile device as on a computer, making the website easy to access on the go, said the company. An advanced location search with additional filters including search by city, state, highway, store type, restaurant concept and amenities was added [image-nocss] to help users find Love's locations throughout the country. Users can download location information from the website directly to their GPS device. In addition, fuel and location searches can be exported from the website to an Excel file.

"We have listened to customer feedback about the website and have made the changes that our customers wanted," said Jenny Love Meyer, director of communications. "We are pleased to provide features on our website that help our customers easily find the information they need."

In other company news, Love's recently opened a tire care and lube center in El Paso, Texas. It is the first of its kind for the company and will offer lube services, oil changes, sell tires and perform minor repairs.

The tire care and lube center is located at the Love's Travel Stop on I-10, which has been open since 1986. The new tire and lube facility has 15 employees and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The El Paso location will be one of many additions for Love's. It plans to add 50 tire care shops in 2011. These are complements to current Love's providing new tires and services such as tire balancing.

"Love's is committed to providing the best possible facilities and services that matter to the driving public," said Tom Love, chairman and CEO. "The El Paso tire care and lube center will be a great complement to our aggressive 2011 growth plan for the truck tire care shops."

Founded in 1964 by Tom Love, Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City and remains entirely family owned and operated. With more than 265 locations and 90 tire care centers in 39 states, the chain's approximate growth rate is 20 stores per year, it said.
