Love’s Picks Price, Promo Software

Travel-center chain chooses Revionics for merchandise optimization

OKLAHOMA CITY -- One of the nation’s largest travel-center chains decided to use price- and promotion-optimization provider Revionics as a technology supplier for end-to-end merchandise solutions.

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, a 370-location chain based in Oklahoma City, entered into a multiyear agreement for Revionics’ Price Optimization and Promotion Optimization solutions.

Revionics is a software-as-a-solution (SaaS) provider that uses “self-learning” algorithms, automated workflows and data analytics to provide insight into price and promotional strategies.

“We are excited to partner with Revionics to provide customer-centric pricing to our unique customer base of people traveling across the country, and we are excited to standardize on a solution that provides deep insight into key customer-demand signals,” said Jay Dempsey, merchandising technology manager at Love’s. “We value Revionics’ ‘what-if’ scenario planning as well as its ability to evaluate and leverage real-time and historical price and promotions data and provide insight into what products we should carry nationally vs. regionally based on customers’ shopping behavior.”

Dempsey said that with more targeted, systematic pricing and promotions, they can be more competitive, increase customer loyalty, scale for growth and protect profitability.

“2015 was a busy year for Love’s and there are no signs of slowing down in 2016 for this growth-focused company that plans to double its footprint,” said Marc Hafner, CEO of Revionics, Austin, Texas. “We are honored to have been selected the vendor of choice by Love’s. Our proof has always been in the ROI and the value we deliver for our customers. Our mission is to become a trusted adviser and partner to Love’s to help them effectively and profitably execute against their key business and growth objectives.”

Hafner stated: “Love's joins the ranks of our performance-driven retail customers with more than 62,000 retail locations worldwide optimizing with our unmatched solutions. Through our partnership and by leveraging our responsive merchandising capabilities, including our unparalleled pricing and promotion solutions, Love’s can focus on delivering value for its customers.”
