Maverik on Tuesday launched a new version of its rewards app that features what the company is calling “a fresh, intuitive design, enhanced accessibility, improved performance and an upgraded location map, all designed to deliver a more seamless user experience.”

The Salt Lake City-based convenience-store chain added that the app’s redesigned user interface makes it “easier than ever for Maverik Adventure Club and Nitro members to easily access their favorite deals, freebies, benefits and features, including Nitro Mobile Pay.”

An upgraded location map allows users to find and favorite their go-to Maverik stores, while new performance and accessibility enhancements allow for a faster, smoother and more reliable app experience, Maverik said.

  • Maverik is No. 12on CSP’s 2025 Top 40 Update to the 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count. Watch for the full 2025 Top 202 ranking in the June issue of CSP magazine and in CSP Daily News.

Key features include customers being able to use the Nitro Mobile Pay feature by clicking an orange “Scan & Pay” button in the bottom corner of the screen.

In addition, Maverik said, the app’s upgraded, easy-to-use location map allows Rewards members to quickly find and favorite Maverik stores.

In addition, Maverik said, the update allows for a “faster, smoother and more reliable app experience” and “paves the way for even more features coming soon to Maverik’s Rewards app.”

If automatic app updates are enabled on a user’s device, the new version of the Maverik Rewards app will download and install automatically, requiring no further action, Maverik said. For users who do not have automatic updates enabled, an in-app notification will appear, prompting them to visit the appropriate app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) to manually download and install the update. Regardless of the update method, the user’s existing login credentials will remain the same, ensuring a smooth transition to the enhanced app experience.

Salt Lake City-based Maverik has more than 500 Maverik-branded locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, New Mexico, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. It has approximately 400 Kum & Go-branded locations in 12 states: Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming.
