Minit Stop Launches Mobile App

Features rewards, deals, ‘Chicken Pop’ game and more

KAHULUI, Hawaii -- Minit Stop, a convenience-store retailer on Maui in Hawaii, has launched the Minit Stop Mobile App.

The app, which is available to download for free at the App Store for Apple devices and through Google Play for Android devices, features the Minit Stop Rewards program, fuel prices, weekly coupons, deals, social check-ins, the “Chicken Pop” game and more.

It allows users to register for and manage their Minit Stop Rewards Card, check their balance and redeem Minit Stop Rewards.

Using special beacons embedded in the app, customers can receive rewards for just walking into a Minit Stop location.

“We are committed to connecting with and rewarding our customers. Utilizing the latest wireless and mobile tools available, we are very excited to provide this new app that will enhance that connectivity and provide our customers with offerings they desire,” said Jon Miyabuchi, vice president of retail operations.

Minit Stop is the retail convenience-store brand of Hawaii Petroleum Inc., an independent petroleum marketer on the islands of Maui and Hawaii, and markets retail fuel under Ohana Fuels. Minit Stop has 17 locations with 10 on Maui and seven on the Big Island.
