NACS, Koupon Media Form Strategic Partnership

Deal accelerates use of digital promotion tech

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- NACS has announced a new strategic partnership with Koupon Media, a mobile offer platform and consumer insights engine for small-format retail. The agreement accelerates the use of digital promotion technology within the convenience-store industry, specifically related to mobile technology and couponing.

Through the partnership, Alexandria, Va.-based NACS will leverage Koupon Media’s promotion technology, CPG-funded offer content and promotion insights tools to improve digital offers in c-stores. 

Koupon Media leverages mobile commerce standards created within Conexxus, the industry’s standards and technology organization, for promotion distribution and management.

NACS, founded in 1961 as the National Association of Convenience Stores, has 1,900 retailer and 1,800 supplier members from more than 50 countries.

With more than 3 billion offers since its founding, Addison, Texas-based Koupon Media powers mobile offers for more than 40,000 retail locations and many CPG brands. In 2017, the Koupon platform reached more than 108 million customers, driving more than 155 million store trips.
