Alliance Data drops systems, creates new logo

DALLAS -- Alliance Data Systems Corp., a provider of transaction services, credit services and marketing services, has modified its market-facing name, dropping the word systems and will now be known as Alliance Data. A new logo accompanies this change.

The Dallas-based company's stock ticker symbol will remain the same.

Over the past few years, we've received consistent input from our clients that the word systems' made it appear as if we were primarily a technology company and really didn't reflect the value-add we [image-nocss] bring to their business, said Mike Parks, CEO of Alliance Data. Clients tell us they derive value from our ability to create strategic alliances with them and from the insight we glean from data that enables them to form strong, mutually beneficial relationships with their customers. So we decided that those two words, Alliance Data, are a more accurate moniker for us in the marketplace. We are the same successful company, with the same dedicated associates and the same commitment to deliver results -- for our clients, our stockholders and our associates.

Alliance Data manages more than 105 million consumer relationships for some of North America's most recognizable companies. Alliance Data creates and manages customized solutions that change consumer behavior and that enable its clients to build stronger, mutually beneficial relationships with their customers.
