NexChapter, an advisory firm helping convenience and grocery retailers with loyalty, retail media and digital transformation, has appointed Ben Wynkoop as principal and vice president of merchandising and supply chain.

In this role, Wynkoop will lead NexChapter’s newly established Merchandising and Supply Chain practice, expanding the firm’s ability to help retailers tackle their most pressing operational challenges.

Wynkoop brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in merchandising, supply chain and transformation across the convenience and grocery industries. He has held senior leadership positions with major retailers such as Jacksons Food Stores, Save Mart, 7-Eleven and Albertsons.

“Ben’s appointment represents a significant milestone for NexChapter as we expand beyond loyalty, retail media, and digital into the full spectrum of retail operations,” said Art Sebastian, founder and CEO of NexChapter. “His expertise in merchandising innovation and supply chain strategy strengthens our ability to help retailers improve profitability, accelerate speed to shelf, and deliver better experiences for customers.”

Wynkoop's proven expertise in these critical areas positions NexChapter as a comprehensive partner for convenience and grocery retailers, equipped to help them optimize operations through merchandising and supply chain excellence while simultaneously building stronger customer relationships through loyalty programs, retail media networks and digital transformation initiatives, the company said.

“I’m excited to join NexChapter and help retailers address the rapidly evolving merchandising and supply chain challenges shaping the industry today. By combining operational expertise with NexChapter’s proven advisory approach, we can deliver integrated solutions that drive both efficiency and growth,” Wynkoop said.
