Outsite Networks Launches AllPoints Rewards Nationwide

Free app part of rollout of broader marketing ecosystem, technology

NORFOLK, Va. -- Outsite Networks Inc. (ONI) has announced the nationwide launch of AllPoints Rewards, a mobile app for the convenience store industry. Inspired by leading apps that enable consumers to engage with entire industries--like Urbanspoon for restaurants and Flixster for movies--AllPoints offers marketing potential for all c-store retailer, fuel and consumer packaged goods brands.

In AllPoints, consumers are a tap away from more than 150,000 c-stores and the products they crave, ONI said. They can engage with brands in a media-rich environment that includes images, video, product information, web links and special offers on items such as their favorite drinks and snacks, even gasoline. Also, shoppers can track fuel and c-store rewards on their mobile phones.

AllPoints works seamlessly with some of the most popular mobile apps--such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Places and Yelp. Brands benefit when consumers share information on deals, rewards, places and products through social media networks.

AllPoints represents a new way for brands to engage shoppers. For smaller retailers, it's a chance to go mobile like the larger companies. Midsized retailers can even launch their own branded version, while remaining in the national app for further reach into the market. Fuel brands can unite their entire network, regardless of region or varying point-of-sale (POS) systems. CPG companies can now reach shoppers across the c-store universe, with deals, rewards and clubs that clear through traditional clearinghouse channels.

Brands can now benefit from ONI's Brand Transactional Engagement, which links mobile marketing directly to c-store cash registers. Here, millions of transactions every day are tracked and analyzed, then drive targeted promotions based on item-level shopper histories.

"AllPoints bridges the gap between how today's consumers want to engage with their favorite brands--and how c-store retailers, fuel brands, and CPG vendors can engage their customers industry wide" said Anton Bakker, CEO of ONI. "C-store brands will be excited--Brand Transactional Engagement leading to variable pricing is a game changer."

There is no monthly fee for retailers to participate in AllPoints. Joining will place them at the top of the list when shoppers search in their areas, ONI said. Shoppers can download AllPoints Rewards for free at the App Store and Google Play.

AllPoints Rewards is part of a broader marketing ecosystem, which ONI will unveil next month. Brands that participate now will begin using part of that ecosystem by managing their mobile campaigns through a web-based portal. New features will include enhanced product listings, retailer and system-driven fuel pricing information, geo-fencing and enhanced shopper feedback tied directly to insights and campaign execution. ONI will also debut its latest patent-pending innovation: A near-field communications (NFC)-based variable-pricing technology for consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers, dubbed the NFC-CPG Wallet.

Norfolk, VA-based Outsite Networks introduced loyalty marketing to the c-store industry. It is the leading c-store loyalty provider with millions of members, a database of billions of transactions, and hundreds of convenience retail operations as loyalty partners. Outsite Networks and partner Catalina Marketing recently announced the nationwide rollout of a combined loyalty and manufacturer coupon network.
