Par Mar Oil has expanded its digital commerce operations across nearly all store locations in four states through its partnership with Lula Commerce, allowing the convenience-store chain to offer delivery across platforms including Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub, Seamless and Postmates.

  • Par Mar Oil Co. is No. 33 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

Par Mar began its pilot program with Lula in 2023 in about 30 locations. In mid-2024, it started scaling and is still growing, now at 110 stores.

The partnership streamlines tasks such as delivery service relationship management, digital order accounting and reconciliation, operational and growth strategy and IT functions. By fully integrating its PDI back-office system with the Lula Hub, Par Mar retailers use real-time price syncing and inventory updates across their digital channels.

This partnership frees up approximately 2.5 full-time resources, allowing Par Mar to outsource and scale its digital commerce operations, according to Lula. Lula manages all delivery service contacts, store training and more.

"It's been a pleasure helping the Par Mar team achieve digital excellence through Lula’s program,” said Adit Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Lula Commerce. “Our managed services—and suite of AI agents—have streamlined their digital operations, reducing the marketing manager’s oversight time to under 30 minutes per week. I'm truly impressed by their rapid growth and scalability, and I'm excited about what lies ahead as the Par Mar team works to make their stores accessible to consumers across all channels."

Par Mar Oil operates franchises such as Papa John’s, Subway, A&W and Arby’s across Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia and Maryland. In early 2023, Par Mar further strengthened its market presence with the acquisition of 14 convenience stores from Santmyer Cos.
