Web app captures, manages, reports POS transactions as they happen

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Success Systems Inc., a provider in point-of-sale (POS) integration and backoffice solutions for convenience, grocery, liquor stores and gas stations, has launched a real-time .NET application called RealTime. This application lets users capture, centralize, manage and report stores' POS transactions as they happen, the company said.

RealTime, the latest addition to Success Systems' product line, is targeted at store owners who want to drive incremental sales, eliminate stores' operating inefficiencies and evaluate and compare stores' [image-nocss] sales, promotions and markdowns in real time.

It is a web application for locations that already have an existing backoffice solution and a solution for those that are non-backoffice users. RealTime is a secure .NET web-based application that can be access from anywhere at any time, putting business-critical information at store owners' fingertips in real time when they need it, where ever they need it, said the company.

RealTime increases control of the store's operations, measuring cashier's productivity, monitoring promotions, tracking sales, controlling product margins, reducing shrinkage, tracking voids, auditing of stores' POS transactions and analyzing sales by hour, number of transactions, cashier or other measures, it added.

It is designed for those customers who want a reporting management tool to improve merchandising information analysis, get better control of product pricing and promotion, get faster reconciliation process and improve employee productivity, Success Systems said.

Stamford, Conn.-based Success Systems specializes in providing Windows computer solutions for convenience stores, traditional gasoline retailers, grocery, delicatessen and repair facilities. Success Systems has a variety of scanning, inventory, merchandising and backoffice products for the entrepreneurial and mid-tier market. More than 3,000 locations use Success Systems products that are currently installed throughout the country with connectivity to Ruby VeriFone, Gilbarco GSITE, Wayne Plus, Wayne Nucleus, Tokheim PRO and NCR POS terminals, said the company.
