Refuel partners with PAR to combine loyalty and data

Refuel Operating Co. has partnered with PAR Technology to connect loyalty and realtime insights, according to a LinkedIn post from the convenience-store chain. The platform will be active by the end of the year.

“By bringing loyalty and guest insights together, well inspire more visits, more gallons and bigger baskets to create an experience our members truly deserve,” the post said.

The Charleston, South Carolina-based chain said it will be gathering feedback, refining features and ensuring a better guest experience. 

“In doing so, were living our core valuesconvenience, quality, family and growthand moving toward a future where each interaction delivers more of what matters to you,” the post said.

PAR Retail, Philadelphia, provides tech solutions for convenience and fuel retailers, including loyalty, payments, digital customer experiences, on-site engagement, tobacco loyalty programs and more.

Refuel has a history of growth through acquisition. Most recently, it acquired eight Mississippi c-stores. In 2024, Refuel's store count grew by three locations. In 2023, Refuel acquired eight convenience stores through two separate deals. In 2022, Refuel made several acquisitions, including two CEFCO stores from Fikes Wholesale Inc and the assets of Embark Energy.
