Rutter's Stores Collecting Toys for Tots

Also presents check to Crispus Attucks Association

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores is teaming up with Toys for Tots again to collect new and unwrapped toys for needy children.

Toys can be dropped into collection boxes through December 20 at any one of Rutter's 51 convenience stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Franklin and Lancaster counties in Pennsylvania.

York, Pa.-based Rutter's has participated in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program for years.

Meanwhile, the Rutter's companies recently presented a check for $25,000 to the Crispus Attucks [image-nocss] Association in York. The donation will support Crispus Attucks' early-learning center, which serves children up to age 12.

In 2006, Rutter's will make charitable contributions of approximately $250,000.

Family-owned and third generation-managed, the Rutter's companies comprise Rutter's Farm Stores, Rutter's Dairy and M&G Realty, a real-estate holding company.
