Spinx, an 80-store convenience retailer based in Greenville, S.C., recently selected Kronos, Chelmsford, Mass., and its cloud-based Human Capital Management solution. In addition to streamlining business practices, the Kronos system gives employees self-service features including the ability to check their schedules, review earnings, request time off and sign up for benefits, according to a Kronos statement.

“Kronos helps us make more informed business decisions with real-time data and advanced reporting,” said Cheryl Szczesniak, executive vice president of training and recruiting for Spinx. “We needed a vendor that could align with our mission of making lives easier for employees and customers.”

The Kronos solution will eliminate previously used systems and will help Spinx reduce paperwork. The goal is to allow employees to spend more time servicing customers.
