Stuzo Hires Industry Veterans

PHILADELPHIA — Stuzo is adding three convenience and fuel retail industry veterans to its leadership and management teams, including Steve O’Toole, who joins Stuzo as vice president of sales and business development from his prior role as global head of convenience and fuel retail sales at NCR, Atlanta.

“I have for years been tracking Stuzo’s progress and its emergence as a standout software products leader in loyalty, payments and the cross-channel customer experience,” said O’Toole. “I am excited to join Stuzo’s growing team and scale our solutions across the convenience and fuel retail industry.”

Stuzo is also adding Tom Boyd as vice president of platform delivery to the company. Boyd joins Stuzo from a prior role as mobile product strategist at BP, where Boyd served as manager of the mobile innovation portfolio responsible for developing and driving the mobile strategy for BP in the United States, including the BPme mobile program. and Deano Marier as Enterprise Solutions Architect, who joins Stuzo from prior solutions engineering roles at companies including EdgePetrol, London, and PDI, Alpharetta, Ga.

Philadelphia-based Stuzo aims to help retailers know and activate more customers and data in real-time in an effort to generate more visits, more gallons and bigger baskets. Stuzo’s Open Commerce product suite consists of Activate for loyalty, Transact for contactless commerce and Experience for cross-channel digital storefronts.
