TA Introduces Interstate Speedzone WiFi System

Offers increased bandwidth, power

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) has announced the completion of new Interstate Speedzone WiFi systems at TravelCenters of America-branded locations. New Wi-Fi access points and antennas have doubled the power and range of the previous system and provide excellent coverage of TA's parking lots.

Dedicated Wi-Fi broadband has been installed, or will be installed before year end, where it is available for even faster surfing and connection speeds, the company said.

In other company news, TA said that it has opened a new truck service center at its [image-nocss] Morris, Ill., travel center location (Exit 112 off Interstate 80).

"We are thrilled to open the new Morris truck service garage, a state-of-the-art maintenance and repair center," said Ara Bagdasarian, executive vice president of the company's truck service business. "Our customers will find the new Morris service center a place where they can confidently take their truck for preventive maintenance and a wide assortment of services."

TA Truck Service centers provide a wide range of services, including Freightliner ServicePoint and AC Delco factory authorized warranty work; preventive maintenance and lubrication services; brake and clutch adjustments; refrigerated truck maintenance; alternator, water pump and axle wheel seal installation; tire services; alignments and annual safety inspections.

TA Morris Truck Service facility is staffed by 14 trained technicians, five service writers and 2 assistant general managers and manager, Brian Gashi. The Morris TA is also part of the RoadSquad roadside assistance program. A RoadSquad service truck is on hand to assist downed truckers 24x7x365.
