AUSTIN, Texas — Tanknology, which specializes in environmental compliance testing, inspection services and fuel quality, has acquired Compliance Testing and Technology (CT&T), a Cedarburg, Wis.-based provider of aboveground storage tank (AST) and underground storage tank (UST) compliance services.

Recapitalized by company management and Hamilton Robinson Capital Partners (HRCP) in September 2019, the new investment enables Tanknology to continue to grow, both organically and through strategic acquisitions. HRCP is a middle-market private equity firm that seeks to invest in the business-to-business services, value-added distribution and highly engineered manufacturing sectors.
Austin, Texas-based Tanknology, which specializes in environmental compliance testing, inspection services, corrosion prevention and fuel quality solutions, services more than 85,000 petroleum fueling and storage facilities per year. It offers more than 30 compliance-related service offerings and holds 22 patents for leak detection and tank monitoring technology. Internationally, Tanknology has licensees in more than 20 countries.
