Terrible’s convenience stores launched a mobile app in partnership with mobile app platform provider Rovertown for its Terrible’s+ Rewards loyalty program, powered by PDI.

The app features a shop, spin and win game, which rewards qualified purchases with a spin of the customized, in-app prize wheel. Customers can win fuel discounts, free products, car washes and more.

Members can also earn and redeem points on fuel and merchandise purchases, with personalized digital access to offers, redemptions and account activity.

“At Terrible’s, we don’t follow the traditional playbook,” said Bryan Breeden, vice president of marketing and advertising at Las Vegas-based Terrible’s. “We’re constantly looking for fun and engaging ways to connect with our guests. The Terrible’s+ Rewards app is a bold leap forward—one that’s designed to engage our most loyal guests with something fresh, exciting, and unmistakably Terrible’s.”

The app gives Terrible’s control over the user experience with self-service capabilities. Customers can subscribe to unlimited car washes, access age-restricted offers and enjoy weekly “Terrible’s Tuesday” deals.

“We understand gamification better than most,” said Breeden. “Our brand was built in the entertainment capital of the world, and we bring that perspective to digital engagement. Having the right tools to compete in today’s market is essential, and we’re establishing a foundation we can build on for years to come.”

Rovertown is based in Richmond Heights, Missouri, and PDI Technologies is based in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Terrible’s, a privately held company, owns and operates more than 190 convenience stores in Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico.
