Drivers who stop at TravelCenters of America to fill up on diesel fuel and diesel exhaust fluid can now pay through Relay Payment’s cardless, digital experience.
Drivers and fleets can search for participating locations in the Relay app, helping them quickly find fueling along their routes, Atlanta-based Relay Payments said.
Relay’s cardless solution streamlines fueling and eliminates the risk of fraud due to fuel-card skimming, the company said.
“Our carrier customers have been asking for Relay acceptance at TA,” said Michael Stuewe, senior vice president of fleet sales for TravelCenters of America. “Now, we’re delivering on that with Relay's digital fuel payments that make fueling quicker, easier and more secure.”
TA, owned by Chicago-based bp, has more than 300 locations in 44 states. It offers diesel and gasoline, truck maintenance and repair, full-service and quick-service restaurants, stores with food, beverages and merchandise and more at its stores.
- Chicago-based bp is No. 5 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.
Relay Payments is building a modern digital payment network to revolutionize the trucking and logistics industries, the company said. More than 500,000 drivers, 100,000 carriers and 3,000 merchants nationwide use its programs. It works with retailers like Pilot Co., Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Maverik and more.
