TXB Stores, Spicewood, Texas, is implementing an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven distribution model for direct-store delivery (DSD) in partnership with GPO Plus, Inc. (GPOX).

GPOX, Las Vegas, now provides weekly service to TXB covering all 52 stores in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and border area stores in Texas, as well as Oklahoma locations. The DSD distribution also includes a TXB-branded Feel Good Shop+, a store-within-a-store concept.

“We are delighted to welcome GPOX's exceptional services to our stores,” said Joe Clark, senior category manager for TXB. “This partnership enhances our product assortment for our customers, making their shopping experience more convenient than ever.”

GPO’s technology network has strategically placed regional hubs and mini hubs and is designed to optimize efficiency and maximize reach.

Its in-house technology platform, PRISM+, is designed to streamline the distribution process and supports efficient delivery, inventory management, data analytics and overall operational excellence, the company said.

Kwik Chek rebranded as TXB in 2020. The chain has more than 50 stores in Texas and Oklahoma and aims to give customers high-quality food items and first-class service.
