Rolls out web-based mobile platform through OpenStore by Gasbuddy

LINCOLN, Neb. -- U-Stop Convenience Shops, a convenience store chain based in Lincoln, Neb., has launched a new website and mobile apps with OpenStore by Gasbuddy.

OpenStore is a complete digital marketing solution to help convenience store owners and managers concentrate on reaching and rewarding their customers, without having to build and maintain IT systems. With OpenStore, U-Stop now has the ability to reach customers through a branded mobile app, individual store web pages, mobile coupons and social media that includes Facebook and Twitter.

The first U-Stop convenience shop was opened in 1982 in Lincoln, Neb. With 21 convenience stores throughout Nebraska, U-Stop is the only major retailer that offers Phillips 66 gasoline in the Lincoln area. U-Stop locations offer conveniences such as pet washing, laundromats, car washes and flex-fuel blender pumps.

Gaithersburg, Md.-based OpenStore by GasBuddy provides two-way communication between convenience store owners and customers using web technologies and custom branded mobile applications. The OpenStore dashboard makes it easy to collect customer feedback, manage social media, deliver mobile coupons and marketing campaigns from one location.
