Ultimate Sales has named Brad Heetland as its new president, effective Nov. 4.
The Savannah, Georgia-based c-store sales agency said Heetland will work alongside co-owner Tyler Coates, who will transition to the role of chief operating officer.
As president, Heetland, who has 30 years of industry experience, will oversee Ultimate Sales’ marketing and sales teams, as well as develop the company’s business planning and strategic initiatives, the company said.
“We are thrilled to welcome Brad as our new president,” said CEO Wes Stone. “Brad's experience, knowledge and vision align with our company’s values and goals.”
Before joining Ultimate Sales, Heetland held key positions at Kraft Foods, Borden Dairy, Core-Mark Atlanta and Advantage Solutions. In 2009, he was chairman of the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) supplier board and served on the supplier board for nine years. He also served on the NACS board of directors for two years.
“I am honored to take on this role at a pivotal time for Ultimate,” said Heetland. “I look forward to collaborating with our clients to drive results and expand deeper distribution in all categories throughout the stores. We will enhance the customer experience and add long-term value to our clients.”
Founded in 1993, Ultimate Sales began as a foodservice and marketing company for c-store retailers, distributors and manufacturers.
