SAN JOSE, Calif. -- VeriFone Systems Inc. won the 2014 Merchant Payments Ecosystem (MPE) Award in the mPOS (mobile point of sale) category at MPE 2014. The MPE Awards Committee selected VeriFone for its portfolio of PAYware Mobile solutions that transform smartphones and tablets into completely secure mPOS devices that can accept payments from traditional mag-stripe cards as well as EMV (chip and PIN) cards.
Since 2010, the MPE Awards have provided recognition and tribute to those who are instrumental and innovative in the payment industry, bringing tribute to those who are pushing the system and payment solutions into the next level of success.
