BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- Walmart has extended the 90-day Rollback at the pump, instituted in June, to give customers a savings of 10 cents a gallon on all fuel, gasoline and diesel at participating Murphy USA and Walmart gas stations. The discount applies to gasoline purchases made when using a reloadable Walmart gift card, reloadable Walmart MoneyCard or Walmart credit card from now through December 24, 2011.
Customers who use the Walmart family of cards to buy gasoline at participating stations will immediately save 10 cents a gallon on purchases at the pump, with no other restrictions or requirements.
"We've heard from our customers that the savings they've experienced from the gas Rollback this summer were important and made a difference for their families," said Tara Raddohl, Walmart spokesperson. "It's important to Walmart that we continue giving families ways to save throughout the holidays, and we're doing just that with our gas Rollback."
States with participating gas stations are Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
In Florida, Walmart Credit Card users can receive a 10-cent per gallon credit on their statement when they use their Walmart Credit Card at a participating station; the Walmart Gift Card and Walmart MoneyCard discount is five-cents off per gallon at the pump.
In Alabama, Walmart Credit Card users can receive a 10-cent per gallon credit on their statement when they use their Walmart Credit Card at a participating station; there is no program applicable for Walmart Gift Card or Walmart MoneyCard users due to state restrictions.
In Minnesota and Oklahoma, the previous offering continues, which is a five-cent discount with the Walmart Credit Card, a three-cent discount with the Walmart MoneyCard and a three-cent discount with the Walmart Gift Card at participating stations.
