Weigel’s, a Powell, Tennessee-based convenience-store chain, is launching its first Auto Spa, which offers car wash tunnel technology, smart vacuum stations and license plate recognition.
Inside the car wash, customers are taken through the journey of one of Weigel's mascot, Ellie the Cow. There is a digital arch that displays Ellie in fun scenes designed to entertain and guide customers through the wash process, Weigel's told CSP.
Weigel’s Auto Spa is located in Powell on Bill Bell Road.
Members of the MyWeigel’s Rewards program will earn loyalty points with every wash, just as they would on fuel and in-store purchases. Employees enrolled in the program receive 50% off car washes. Customers who subscribe to premium wash plans also unlock exclusive fuel rewards.
“The Weigel’s Auto Spa is another step forward in our commitment to delivering convenience that respects our guests’ time and expectations,” said Doug Yawberry, CEO of Weigel’s. “With a clean vehicle, fresh food, quality fuel and digital rewards all in one place, we’re building a daily destination that feels effortless and rewarding.”
- Weigel's is No. 84 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of convenience store chains by store count.
Weigel’s was established in 1931 as a family business selling raw milk. It had 83 stores as of Jan. 1.
