DALLAS — Crown Distributing LLC launched a line of hemp smoking wrappers under its Wild Hemp Hemp Wraps brand.

The wraps were created as a solution for adult consumers to use with legal smokable hemp flower or traditional non-tobacco smoking herbs, the Dallas-based company said.

"We have deliberately manufactured our wrappers with a little more moisture to improve flexibility for hand rolling, and we have created a smooth wave edge along one side of the wrapper, so that when it is fully rolled it provides a nice tight seal around the smoking material,” Mike Walters, vice president of sales at Crown, said.

Hemp Wraps come in six flavors: Natural, Sweetz, Puprz, Island Twist, Tropical Buzz and Limeaide. Four wraps sell for 99 cents.

The wraps were originally launched in limited markets, but are now available nationwide. So far, more than 200 wholesalers have placed orders for the wraps, Crown Distributing said.

The product is available from Global Tobacco LLC and America Juice Co. LLC, in addition to Crown Distributing.
