GRANT, Fla. — The distributor of Bidi Vapor LLC products entered an agreement with convenience-store distribution leader H.T. Hackney Co. to allow it to sell Bidi Sticks.

Knoxville, Tenn.-based Hackney can now purchase Bidi Vapor’s disposable e-cigarettes for distribution through a deal with Kaival Brands Innovations Group Inc., Grant, Fla. Hackney has more than 20 distribution centers throughout the Southeast and Midwest that support about 25,000 c-stores. Its first order of Bidi Sticks shipped on Jan. 28.

The partnership represents Kaival Brands’ largest single distribution agreement to date, the company said. Bidi Stick was available in about 10,000 stores in 2020.

"We are enthusiastic and humbled by Hackney's embrace of the Bidi Stick,” said Niraj Patel, CEO of Kaival Brands. “This new agreement has the potential to triple our distribution points, which, if that occurs, could increase our previously forecasted revenue projections.”

Bidi Vapor’s Bidi Stick is a premium product made with medical-grade components and technology designed to deliver a consistent vaping experience, the Melbourne, Fla.-based company said. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) accepted its premarket tobacco product application (PMTA) for 11 Bidi Stick flavors. Bidi Vapor officials now await the filing letter from the FDA, signifying the application's move to the substantive review phase, the company said.

"It has always been our goal to provide a premium vape experience as an option to traditional, combustible tobacco that meets the needs of every adult smoker, age 21 and older," Patel said. "We couldn't be more pleased that we are one step further in achieving this goal."

Kaival Brands Innovations Group is the exclusive global distributor of all products manufactured by Bidi Vapor. In addition to the Bidi Stick, it also launched tobacco-free nicotine pouch Bidi Pouch.
