JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Swisher has named a new president and CEO. Neil Kiely, who has been Swisher’s president for the past year, will now hold both roles.

Kiely (left) will lead the strategic growth, transformation and diversification of Swisher’s portfolio of products for adult consumers. He brings more than three decades of experience growing and transforming consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, Swisher said, and has rapidly set the strategic framework for Swisher’s transformation into new categories, emerging channels and the e-commerce space.

One of Kiely’s first moves as president and CEO was to promote Jeffrey Brown (right) from general manager of Swisher’s sister company E-Alternative Solutions (EAS) to vice president of Swisher sales. Brown has more than 37 years of industry and leadership experience in segments including cigars, e-vapor and CBD.

“Jeff has shown tremendous growth since joining EAS in 2014 and has demonstrated the leadership and acumen required for managing Swisher’s global sales strategy,” Kiely said. “Between his experience leading large sales teams and introducing new products in innovative ways, Jeff has earned this opportunity and is well equipped to lead us as we continue to transform and diversify our product portfolio.”

These leadership appointments follow the promotion of Chris Howard, formerly of EAS, to executive vice president of external affairs and new product compliance.

Swisher, Jacksonville, Fla., sells tobacco and alternative products under several divisions including Swisher Sweets Cigar Co., Fat Lip Brands, Drew Estate, Hempire and Rogue.
