QuikTrip added 69 new stores in 2021 and celebrated its 900th store this year just two years after unveiling its 800th store in 2019. The chain’s footprint has grown significantly in its 63-year history, extending its stores across 14 states and opening its new line of remote travel centers in several new cities.

In 2020, QuikTrip began work to grow beyond the c-store channel, opening a MedWise urgent care clinic in Tulsa, Okla. The chain sold four stores to Hy-Vee in early 2020 as it seeks to grow its count of new, larger footprint Generation 3 stores.
