Dropping "Herbst" and now called simply "Terrible's," this Las Vegas-based convenience-store chain owns and operates c-stores and car washes in Nevada, California, Arizona and Utah. Terrible's also has deals on packaged beverages, beef jerky and more rotating at any given time.

Stores also offer delivery via Grubhub.

The chain boasts the world's largest Chevron, with 96 pumps in Jean, Nevada, according to the website World Record Academy. The store includes a coffee bar that's 30 feet long and a 700-square-foot beer cave.

Most stores include a Mrs. Terrible's Gaming Lounge with slot machines owned by sister company JETT Gaming.

The chain was founded in 1959 by Jerry Herbst and remains family owned and run. Its mustachioed mascot and giant American flags have become hallmarks of the business.
