CHR Corp.'s Rutter's is an industry leader in convenience-store design, sustainable construction, retail technology, restroom focus and foodservice innovation. For the fourth time, the company was the winner of CSP's Intouch Insight Mystery Shop in 2023. In 2022, Rutter's disclosed expansion plans for the next 100 years, with further growth in eastern and western Pennsylvania, entrance into the Virginia and Delaware markets and the remodeling of existing convenience stores to add alcohol and video-gaming terminals. It also enhanced its Top Tier-certified gasoline offering with premium diesel. The chain introduced online ordering in 2023. Rutter's is best known for its foodservice. Its menu includes made-to-order subs and wraps, burgers, seafood, salads, Mexican fare, bowls, pizza and breakfast sandwiches. Last year, the chain continued to enhance its foodservice offers with a host of new menu items. In 2025, the chain will expand into the sports bar format, with large TV screens and gaming machines.
