Since it was founded in 1925, Forward Corp. has owned and operated many brands and businesses across Michigan. Today, the fifth-generation company employs over 1,000 people across four divisions spanning 24 counties.
In addition to convenience stores and Subway restaurants, Forward Corp. also operates Forward Energy, a heating fuels business, and T.R. McTaggart, a screen printing and embroidery business. It also owns two hotels, a conference center and the Lumber Jack restaurant in West Branch.
