GetGo operated 270 convenience stores at the start of 2025, along with several standalone "WetGo" car wash locations and more than 45 car washes across its network.
The c-store chain is a division of the Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania-based Giant Eagle supermarket chain, which owns and operates stores in five states. The stores are primarily located in the metropolitan areas of Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus and Indianapolis.
In August, Circle K owner Alimentation Couche-Tard said it would acquire GetGo from Giant Eagle. The acquisition was expected to close in calendar year 2025, subject to standard regulatory approval and closing conditions. As of late April, the deal had not yet closed.
On April 25, GetGo President Terri Micklin said she was no longer part of the company as part of the pending sale to Couche-Tard. She said GetGo Vice President of Operations Mike Maraldo will be leading the business unit moving forward.
