Hy-Vee, Inc., one of the largest privately owned supermarket chains in the United States, also operates convenience stores under the Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh banner across Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. The Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh brand has become known for its fresh selection of mealtime items, with USA Today naming its supermarket arm the No. 1 Grocery Store in America.

The c-store chain continues to gain market share in the mealtime category with its Market Grille Express counters that feature fresh, made-to-order items and grab-and-go meal options, such as burgers, breakfast sandwiches, hand-breaded chicken tenders and more. In-store customers can also find fresh sushi, bakery items, produce, salads and take-and-heat options. Some locations also feature in-store coffee shops with drive-thru lanes.

To bring even more convenience and savings to customers, in 2024, Hy-Vee introduced the new Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh app. The mobile app allows customers to mobile order for curbside or at-the-pump meal delivery, view fuel prices and access exclusive deals, coupons and more.
