This Las Vegas-based convenience-store chain dropped "Herbst" from its chain name and is now known simply as "Terrible's," owning and operating 188 c-stores and 89 car washes in Nevada, California, Arizona and Utah. The chain offers several deals and promotions, including Pump & Pour, which gives a selection of offers redeemable at the register when customers purchase fuel. Terrible's also has deals on packaged beverages, beef jerky and more rotating at any given time. Stores also offer delivery via Grubhub. The chain boasts the world's largest Chevron, with 96 pumps in Jean, Nevada, according to the World Record Academy website. The store has a coffee bar that's 30 feet long and a 700-square-foot beer cave. Most stores include a Mrs. Terrible's Gaming Lounge with slot machines owned by the chain's sister company, JETT Gaming.

Jerry Herbst founded the company in 1959, and it remains family-owned and -run. Its mustachioed mascot and giant American flags have become hallmarks of the business.
