The need for comfort and ease becomes more important for c-store consumers during dinnertime. Nearly 19% of respondents reported that the need to either keep it simple and enjoyable or to unwind drove their decision to visit a c-store for a dinner occasion, vs. 12.5% overall. Interestingly, the need for better-for-you options also saw a slight uptick during dinner occasions at 17.5% vs. 15.4% overall.
