This year, Wawa has made a promise to its customers: It serves 100% sustainably sourced coffee and all coffees now bear the Rainforest Alliance seal.

The chain’s private label coffee brand serves a selection of roasts ranging from vanilla to Cuban roast and dark roast, with LTOs such as the two reserve flavors that kicked off 2020: Guatemala Santa Rosa and Sumatra Mandheling. Reserve coffees are top-of-the line, specialty-grade and made with beans chosen specifically for “quality, consistency, and the unique characteristics of their country of origin,” says the c-store chain.
In stores, coffees are now arranged by roast level, to help guests select the strength they prefer.

In the six states where it does business, Wawa serves a quarter of a billion cups of coffee annually, as well as packs of beans and boxes of single-cup coffee. The chain is boosting that with a summer LTO: A $2 promotion on any sized iced coffee, with choice of milk, sweetener and flavor.
