Tap-and-go credit cards, mobile-phone payment and app alternatives are all part of an expansion of contactless payment options inside and outside Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores nationwide.

“With the holiday driving season upon us, we want our customers to know about the increased amount of options they have when paying for fuel and other items like food, drinks and snacks,” Ginny Webb, chief information officer and vice president of technology, said in November. “Being able to purchase items quickly and safely is very important to our customers, and we are pleased to be able to offer these contactless options.”

Those options include Apply Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay; tap-and-go credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover; and smart terminals with Love’s credit processing software to reduce checkout time.

Professional drivers can fill their tanks using Love’s Mobile Pay on the Love’s Connect app to answer prompts, buy fuel and get digital receipts using mobile phones. Mobile Receipts on the app gives access to contactless receipts from all transactions made when swiping or scanning the My Love Rewards card.
