ANKENY, Iowa — Casey’s General Stores has launched a new platform “to bring Casey’s brand positioning to life.” The print, billboard, broadcast and digital platform, “Here for Good,” is intended to tell the story of Casey’s commitment to the communities it serves through its more than 2,000 convenience stores, the company said.

The retailer has named Chicago-based independent creative agency Schafer Condon Carter (SCC), which developed the new campaign, as its marketing agency of record.

“For over 50 years, Casey’s has been at the heart of the communities we serve, and we want our brand to reflect the position we hold in towns and neighborhoods, as well as in our guests’ daily lives. Our goal was to identify a partner who could help us create a unifying brand idea that would connect deeply with our guests and the communities we have the privilege of serving,” said Chris Jones, chief marketing officer and senior vice president of Casey’s General Stores. “We believe SCC, and the new ‘Here for Good’ platform we have developed together, will be an excellent step forward in accomplishing this effort.”

Casey’s is “an extraordinary brand and company with a powerful mission to be at the heart of every community they serve, and their convenience, product quality and service is unmatched,” said David Selby, CEO of SCC. “We look forward to working with the entire Casey’s team to help articulate and celebrate this mission in driving continued momentum and growth.”

SSC is an independent creative and technology agency with clients in the retail, restaurant, food and foodservice sectors. It has worked with brands such as the Chicago Cubs, Weber Grill, Solo Cup, LiftMaster, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Kellogg’s, among others. The company also operates a private equity portfolio, SCCventures, with holdings in the food and tech sectors.

Casey's, with headquarters in Ankeny, Iowa, operates more than 2,000 c-stores in 16 states. It is No. 4 in CSP’s2019 Top 202 raking of c-store chains by number of retail outlets.
