Lettieri's Cooks Up Partnership with Acosta

Acosta will represent Lettieri's product lines in convenience channel

SHAKOPEE, Minn. -- Lettieri's Inc. has forged a new partnership with Acosta Sales & Marketing Co., effective August 15, 2005.

The teaming of Lettieri's, a food manufacturer that provides convenience cuisine to retail and foodservice operations, and Acosta, a leading sales and marketing agency for the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, will expand Lettieri's sales network by more than 400 team members.

According to Greg Dornbach, Lettieri's senior vice president of sales and marketing, this partnership with Acosta will [image-nocss] significantly increase Lettieri's presence throughout the country. Because of the growth we've experienced over the past several years, we felt that if we want tonot only sustain--but to further enhance these efforts--it was important to align ourselves with a truly national, professional sales organization. With Acosta's help, we're confident we will accomplish this goal, expand our market penetration and take our sales to the next level.

Fred Rosen, Acosta's vice president for the East Zone, said, Lettieri's is a brand that we've been watching grow for a number of years. We can now offer our customers a wide variety of quality products to support their foodservice initiative.

Under the terms of the partnership, Jacksonville, Fla.-based Acosta will represent Lettieri's various product lines, including its Quick Stix stuffed breadsticks, Wrap Dogs!, Buenos Amigos empanadas and Lettieri's full line of breakfast sandwiches, stuffed baguettes, authentic calzones and gourmet sandwiches. Acosta will have sales responsibility in the convenience channel thought much of the United States.

Lettieri's customers include a variety of businesses such as large petroleum companies, c-store chains, vending companies, airline companies and other foodservice outlets. Its products are currently represented in more than 30,000 c-stores throughout the United States.
