Baker Boy’s The Donut Hole® Thaw & Serve donut line will debut in October at the NACS Show in Atlanta. With icings, glazes and toppings already on the donuts, The Donut Hole® Thaw & Serve line is taking donut convenience to a whole new level.

NACS attendees will be able to find The Donut Hole Thaw & Serve display inside of Advantage Solutions Booth #1011 in Exhibit Hall B of the Georgia World Congress Center. There, they’ll see the new donut line and be able to sample Baker Boy’s innovative new Magic Ring® Filled Donuts.

Delivered frozen and fully finished, The Donut Hole® Thaw & Serve lineup includes three flavors of fully finished Magic Ring Donuts—ring donuts with delicious filling in every bite—along with a wide selection of donut favorites. Magic Ring flavors include: White Iced Raspberry; Chocolate Iced Chocolate;  Bavarian Creme; and White Iced Strawberry Cream Cheese. All of the Magic Rings also come topped with sprinkles, giving them a more upscale presentation.

The most intriguing addition to The Donut Hole® Thaw & Serve line is the Glazed Apple Filled Fritter, a folded cinnamon donut with delicious apple filling to create something never before seen in the donut world.

The Donut Hole® line also offers old favorites such as Glazed Ring Donuts, Chocolate Iced Ring Donuts, Maple Iced Long Johns, Glazed Cinnamon Twist Donuts, a Bavarian Crème-Filled Long John and a selection of glazed cake donuts.

Each case of donuts in The Donut Hole® Thaw-and-Serve line comes with:

  • Fully finished donuts to sell the way operators want: as a six-pack; individually inside a bakery case; or in their own unique packaging. Simply unbox the donuts, allow them to thaw and they’re ready to sell.
  • Five pre-packaged and overwrapped six-pack donut trays, giving the operator 30 total donuts in each case.
  • Retail-ready sticker labels with branding, product names, nutrition facts, ingredient information and UPCs.
  • Unique, Baker Boy-exclusive products like the Magic Ring® Donuts and Glazed Apple Filled Fritter.

The Donut Hole® Thaw-and-Serve products come on the heels of the complete modernization of Baker Boy’s donut manufacturing line.

“We recently underwent an $11 million advancement focused entirely on donuts,” Moos said. “The upgraded machinery brings a new level of automation to the process that helps perfect the donuts’ shape, fry and consistency, and reinforces our already high taste standards.”

Baker Boy’s state-of-the-art equipment upgrade expanded its donut-making capacity from 5,000 per hour to 22,000 per hour. The upgrades began last year with the Magic Ring Donut injection technology, and culminated this summer with the addition of new automated icing, glazing and topping capabilities.

Now, Baker Boy is ready to help its c-store customers save time while still providing consumers with fresh donuts at all hours of the day.
