Each 5.3-ounce cup has 5 to 6 grams of protein and a suggested retail price of $2.29.
Silk, Broomfield, Colo., is a plant-based beverage company with products such as almond milk, cashew bilk, coconut milk, oat milk and dairy-free coffee creamers and yogurt alternatives.
Cocomels, Boulder, Colo., has released a single-serve pack of its Sea Salt Coconut Milk Caramels and Sea Salt Chocolate Covered Bites.
The new 1.3-ounce bags for the dairy-free treats sell for $1.99.
Madhava Foods Ltd. recently acquired JJ’s Sweets, maker of Cocomels.
Ripple Foods, the maker of plant-based and nondairy alternatives such as pea milk, half-and-half and protein powder, has released a line of plant-based frozen desserts.
The products come in Vanilla, Cinnamon Churro, Chocolate, Mint Chip and Cookies & Creme varieties. Each has a texture like traditional dairy ice cream, according to the Emeryville, Calif.-based company. Each serving has 250 to 280 calories.
Ben & Jerry’s Non-Dairy Frozen Desserts now include products made with a new base: sunflower butter. The sunflower butter pints come in “Milk” & Cookies, Creme Brulee Cookie and Mint Chocolate Chip.
The products have an SRP of $4.48 to $5.99.
